Functional Breathing

I invite you to educate your breathing to support your health and general wellbeing.

Breathing is something we are born with, yet over time many of us lose its natural ease. Stress, daily habits, prolonged sitting, and lifestyle factors can gradually change the way we breathe without us even noticing.

Functional breathing is a return to a more natural pattern — primarily through the nose, light, quiet, and supported by the diaphragm rather than the upper chest. It is the way the body is designed to breathe when it is at ease.

Many people, especially under stress, develop habits such as mouth breathing or upper-chest breathing. This can often be accompanied by irregular patterns, like frequent sighing, yawning, or a sense of not fully getting enough air.

Nasal breathing supports the natural regulation of breath and helps the body function in a more balanced way.
